Dover Haven is a three-bedroom townhouse in Dover, on the south coast of Barbados — a short walk from Dover Beach, the boardwalk and the restaurants of St Lawrence Gap. Three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a proper kitchen and a study with a door. Room for a family, two couples, or anyone who wants to work somewhere warm for a while.

The house

Two floors, cream walls and pale tile, with three deliberate bursts of colour: the accent wall in the living room, a hand-painted jungle mural climbing the stairs, and bright metal geckos on the patio wall. Bedrooms are upstairs, all queen beds, all with balcony access. The main floor holds the living room, the dining area, a covered patio and the study.

A room with a door, a desk and a good chair — for the morning you need to take a call, or the month you decide to work from here.

Where it is

Dover sits at the quieter end of the south coast. Two minutes on foot brings you to Dover Beach and the boardwalk; the same walk in the other direction reaches the bars and restaurants of St Lawrence Gap. Oistins is ten minutes by car, the airport about twenty.
